The Test Analyst will play an important role within the software development life-cycle. The role is designed to ensure that software, interfaces, and associated infrastructure is fully tested and fit-for-purpose.
**Duties Responsibilities**:
- Work with the relevant project managers and test manager to develop, coordinate and manage an integrated testing, release, and deployment plan.
- Developing and refining test processes, methodologies, disciplines, and measurements across all technologies.
- Actively promoting Testing principles and disciplines with business customers plus IT groups and seek feedback on effectiveness of testing processes.
- Measuring and reporting of Test results throughout the stages of the development life cycle relating to Testing as outlined in the development methodology.
- Actively manage the program schedule risks (and other risks) presented by the complexity of the technology environments and assist in managing stakeholders across the organisation.
**Key Selection Criteria**:
- Have worked in the Telecommunications Industry
- Demonstrated experience in planning and leading testing for large complex, multi discipline technical projects, involving complex legacy system environments
- Knowledge of product development and product life-cycles
- Strong understanding and experience with end-to-end software development and release processes
- Very strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to develop and document detailed process steps to ensure high levels of compliance with implementation of releases to production and management of environments
- Extensive experience in test management activities such as creating test strategy, preparing test plans, engagement with stakeholders, execute agreed test scope, deliver test summary reports and lead team of test analysts.
