Cockerill Transport is searching for a dedicated Senior operations scheduler to join its transport division. This is a permanent full-time position based in Tottenham.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the effective and efficient scheduling of our transport fleet.
- Managing logistics challenges in real-time, including re-routing and stakeholder updates
- Maximising fleet utilisation while ensuring safety and compliance with company and regulatory requirements
- Monitoring inventory and stock levels at clients via telemetry
- Maintain internal driver induction software
- Work in a team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to arrange on time deliveries and pickups.
- Collaborate with external & internal workshop teams regarding repairs and scheduled maintenance for transport our fleet.
- Commit to implementing Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations, Chain of Responsibility, our company values and all other legislative requirements.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in fleet allocation, scheduling, or logistics coordination.
- Experience with just in time deliveries and pickup - willingness to change and adapt quickly
- Good organisation and prioritisation skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritise tasks under time pressures.
- Intermediate IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for working within a dynamic team environment.
- Industry experience in transport or manufacturing supply chain (advantageous but not essential).
