About the role
We are seeking an experienced Chef/Cook to join our vibrant team at Warilla Beach Cafe'. As a casual position, this role will involve delivering exceptional culinary experiences to our customers in our Warilla NSW 2528 location.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking high-quality meals to order
* Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment
* Ensuring compliance with all food safety and hygiene regulations
* Contributing to the development of new menu items and recipes
* Assisting with inventory management and ordering of supplies
* Providing excellent customer service and exceeding guest expectations
What we're looking for
* Experience as a Chef/Cook in a fast-paced hospitality environment
* Minimum of 2+ years experience as a Chef/Cook in a commercial kitchen environment
* Strong knowledge of food handling, preparation and cooking techniques
* Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Passion for creating delicious, high-quality dishes
* Commitment to maintaining a clean and organised kitchen
* Valid food safety certification
* Current valid food safety certification must be held at time of application
* Food Handler Certificate must be held at time of application
* Australian citizenship required for this position
* Valid work rights in Australia are required for this position
