Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development of instrument and control packages for mining and mineral processing projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in I&C engineering, with experience in design engineering, project management, and team leadership. They will also possess excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as the ability to coach and mentor junior engineers.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Leading the development of instrument and control packages for mining and mineral processing projects
* Providing technical direction and guidance to junior engineers
* Mentoring and coaching junior engineers to develop their skills and expertise
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
You will also have the opportunity to work on high-value engineering projects and contribute to the development of corporate standards and procedures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
* A degree in I&C engineering from a recognized institution
* 10+ years of relevant design engineering experience in the mining and/or processing industries
* Proven experience working in a similar senior I&C engineering role
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* The ability to coach and mentor junior engineers
* Knowledge of applicable codes and standards (AS, IEC, ASME, ASTM, ANSI, API, etc.)
