About the role
Join the friendly team at Gold Creek Country Club as a Retail Assistant. In this casual position, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with the day-to-day operations of the club's retail store. The role is based in Nicholls, ACT.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
* Handling cash, card and mobile payments in a timely and accurate manner
* Stocking and maintaining the retail displays to ensure an appealing and organised presentation
* Processing merchandise returns and exchanges as required
* Providing recommendations on products to customers based on their needs
* Performing general retail duties such as inventory management and light cleaning
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a customer service or retail role, preferably in the hospitality, sports or leisure industry
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable manner
* Good numeracy skills and attention to detail when handling cash and payments
* Ability to work effectively in a team and independently to meet store objectives
* Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and customer demands
