THE ROLE The Senior Project Manager is responsible for contributing to the development of funding, financing and delivery strategies for social and affordable housing projects, as well as managing external partners (such as community housing organisations) to grow and deliver state-funded housing in Victoria. The role will ensure that community housing organisations deliver new social housing projects on time and within budget in accordance with the requirements of funding agreements and that Homes Victoria also meets its contractual obligations in relation to the provision of funding and procurement. The successful applicants will be responsible for delivering a wide range of projects, managing multi-disciplinary consultancy teams, undertaking engagement with internal and external stakeholders and providing key strategic advice and reports to inform the department's delivery of social housing projects. The role will require a dynamic and flexible candidate, capable of managing multiple and competing priorities. The role will contribute to developing a strong and collaborative team culture within the Community Housing Partnerships unit and across Homes Victoria.
