The Role
As the Payroll Supervisor, you will take responsibility for supporting the national payroll function, ensuring accurate, timely and compliant payroll delivery for approximately 2,500 - 3,000 employees. This role combines BAU processing with systems, controls, improvement work and leadership support.
Key Responsibilities
* End‐to‐end fortnightly payroll processing
* Month‐end and year‐end duties including payroll tax, super, STP, PAYG and balance sheet reconciliations
* Interpreting multiple awards and enterprise agreements
* Maintaining data integrity and audit compliance
* Acting as 2iC to the Senior Payroll Manager
* Assisting with process improvement, controls and system testing
* Providing payroll advice to internal stakeholders across the business
About You
We're looking for someone who can thrive in a fast‐moving environment, enjoys challenge, and brings both technical payroll depth and great communication skills.

What You'll Bring
* 7+ years as a Senior Payroll Officer who has acted as a mentor or leader in the team (OR) Current experience as a Payroll Supervisor or Team Leader
* Strong end‐to‐end payroll capability, including balance sheet reconciliations
* Exposure to awards/EBAs
* Strong Excel skills
* Confidence working through system changes, improvements or implementations
* Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‐solving skills
* Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Payroll or relevant studies (advantageous)
* Experience with Dayforce preferred, but not essential
