A Provisional Psychologist supports clients' return to work and life after injury through professional development and a focus on diversity.
Your Responsibilities
* Conduct initial assessments, testing, and interventions for job seekers with psychosocial and mental health barriers to employment.
* Perform vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, and recovery support.
* Manage cases for injured workers returning to employment.
* Assess and report on psychological functional capacities and complete psychological functional assessments.
* Conduct intelligence testing and reporting.
* Evaluate the effects of mental health and medical conditions on work ability.
* Prepare detailed case notes and reports.
* Work with adult clients from diverse backgrounds.
* Provide counselling in-person and via phone to support client rehabilitation.
* Collaborate with a team of allied health professionals.
About You
* Hold a Master's degree in Psychology.
* Be eligible for Provisional Psychology registration with AHPRA upon graduating.
* Have graduated in the last 12 months or be graduating soon.
* Pass a national criminal check prior to commencing employment.
* Have full working rights in Australia.
* Demonstrate effective communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
* Show enthusiasm, dedication, and a desire to collaborate and contribute fresh ideas.
