About the Opportunity

The Executive Assistant to National Manager Organisational Strategy, Change and Information Management (OSCIM) reports to the National Manager, OSCIM is responsible for providing executive support to a Senior Manager Band 1. This can include liaising with internal and external stakeholders, management of incoming correspondence and management of appointments and coordination of meetings.

While working independently you will be responsible for undertaking, coordinating and work with relevant staff to provide responses to corporate documents, managing workflows and the delivery of high-level branch reports, as well as the day-to-day functioning of the Branch Managers office while also supporting the branch.

To be successful in the role you will require a high level of integrity, and strong communication and organisational skills to manage competing priorities for the successful delivery of branch, divisional and/or CASA wide objectives.

Ideal candidates are those who have an EA background. You will be a self-starter, motivated to contribute to aviation safety, have good judgement, be proactive and organised and results oriented. You will have demonstrated ability to:

* prioritise and action multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
* liaise, manage and work professionally with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
* provide diary and administrative support to the Branch Manager and staff
* support the development of key branch artefacts, including meeting agendas, actions items, budget and plans, with a high level of attention to detail
* develop and monitor the branch’s workflow system, including the provision of high-level documents to enable timely consideration
* research information across a range of topics, and present in a succinct manner
* quickly adapt to software applications including advanced skills in the use the MS Office suite
* exercise strong integrity and discretion, advocate and embrace continuous improvement.
Eligibility

Employment with CASA is subject to conditions prescribed within the Civil Aviation Act 1988 (the Act) and the CASA Enterprise Agreement. The following eligibility requirements apply to this position:

* At a minimum, prospective CASA employees must undergo pre-employment screening and must be willing to provide the required information to successfully undergo a police record check.
* At a minimum, be an Australian citizen and have a baseline security clearance or the ability to obtain one.
