Using a variety of technologies and approaches you will deliver a vibrant education to our students that can be translated into real-world skills and support them in their journey to become critical-thinking professionals. The ability to contribute to teaching and supervision of student research projects in the area of mental health, clinical/counselling psychology is essential. You will be at the heart of a dynamic psychology department with a reputation in developing successful, research-led programmes and benefit from membership of one or more of our Departmental Research Groups working with colleagues focussed on internationally excellent research and knowledge exchange activity.The PersonYou will hold or have submitted your PhD or doctorate in the field of psychology with expertise in mental health (e.g. PhD in the area of mental health/clinical psychology, DPsych Clinical/Counselling psychology). You will need to have a broad based understanding of a range of mental health presentations and assessment and treatment modalities to address the presented issues.On a personal level, going above and beyond to deliver exceptional teaching and support to our students will be your core motivation.
