West Technology is currently partnering with a fast-growing Australian boutique MSP that supports the latest technologies.

You'll be working with a large portfolio of diverse and interesting clients across various industries, this business continues to grow, hitting some impressive milestones along the way.

Lead by a supportive and friendly leadership team, it is an exciting opportunity for the right person.

Your New Role

Due to the ongoing success and growth of this business a Level 2/3 Support Engineer position has become available. This person will play a pivotal role within the wider support team and will work closely with two 'hands-on' Directors that are looking to develop future leaders as the business grows.

This role offers you the opportunity to work across a range of different client environments and offers exposure to some of the latest technologies in the market, enhancing your skillset in the process.

Some of the key tasks will include:

•Establish new customer relationships and nurture existing relationships.

•Project manage client projects such as new system implementations, migrations, and equipment upgrades.

•Support the service desk team by providing guidance on workloads and handling issue escalations.

•Ensure that all complex issues are resolved by identifying root causes and providing a remedy.

•Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors and solution providers.

Your Background

The ideal applicant will be a true 'techie' with proven Aussie MSP experience who thrives when facing complex issues and has a passion for the latest and greatest technologies.

Other attributes include:

•Relevant IT qualification or comparable certification

•Has strong technical skills with O365, Veeam, VMware and/or Hyper-V environments.

•Experience administering Windows Servers

•Product certifications (ie: Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, etc.) will be advantageous.

•Critical to your success will be your communication skills, you will be proactive and engaging in your style and have a customer-centric work ethos.

As this is a permanent position, we require applicants to be Australian Permanent residents or Australian Citizens.
