Onsite Technician (East Sale, Victoria) — AGSVA Security Clearance required. This role is based on-site in East Sale, Victoria; remote work is not available, and the incumbent will be in office five days per week.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services.
- Support desktop, infrastructure and services across multiple technology streams including hardware, OS, software, networks, servers, print, etc.
- Respond to, resolve incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs; follow Fujitsu breach reporting process for any failed SLAs.
- Asset refresh, relocation, deployment and decommissioning while maintaining data integrity within the CMDB.
- Maintain and perform housekeeping of customers’ physical infrastructure including desktop equipment, peripherals, telephony, print devices, and audio/visual conferencing equipment.
- Manage customer expectations by providing timely updates on case progress and notifying of delays.
- Log all customer interactions and activities in the appropriate ITSM tool and escalate operational issues promptly.
- Record and submit timesheets and project efforts accurately and on time; complete required training on schedule.
- Adhere to WHS practices and policies as set out by Fujitsu and the customer.
- Carry out additional work as assigned by the Team Lead or Fujitsu management.
Requirements and Experience
- AGSVA Security Clearance essential.
- 7 months to 1+ year minimum experience supporting End User Devices at Level 1+ (remote support acceptable).
- Level 1 and Level 2 technical knowledge of hardware and peripherals (laptops, notebooks, workstations, printers, audiovisual equipment; BYOD and mobility).
- Level 1 and Level 2 knowledge of desktop & software applications (Windows 7–10, Office 2007–365, antivirus, general SMB support).
- Basic understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, SCCM, End-Point Imaging. Familiarity with IT infra and network equipment (routers, switches, servers, virtualization, VPN, RSA, Citrix, VMware, and Hyper-Converged Infrastructures).
- Strong verbal and written communication; professional customer service skills.
- Ability to work well in a team and build partnerships; can-do attitude.
