As a Financial Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. This includes undertaking month-end processes, such as journal entries and accruals, analyzing financial results, and communicating findings to stakeholders.
About The Role
* You will be responsible for reconciling and managing balance sheet accounts, including bank reconciliations.
* You will assist with the preparation of annual budgets and ensure financial accuracy and policy compliance.
* You will maintain a contracts register for revenue streams and oversee payments and cash flows.
* You will examine operating expenditures and drive cost optimization.
About The Team
This role reports to the Financial Controller and works alongside 2 Senior Accountants and 4 Finance Officers.
Skills & Requirements
Applicants should have a Degree in Accounting or related field, with at least 5 years of local Australian finance experience. The ideal candidate is a team player, eager to learn and grow, resilient, and possesses excellent communication skills.
