My client is seeking a capable Senior Accountant to step into a pivotal role within a Partner-led boutique firm based in Melbourne's Outer West.
The Firm
A well-established boutique practice led directly by the Partners, this firm services a broad SME client base and prides itself on delivering personalised, hands‐on advice. With no other onshore accountants currently in the office, this is a key hire who will play an integral role in the firm's day‐to‐day operations and continued growth.
The Role
This is a broad, autonomous position suited to someone comfortable managing their own workflow and engaging directly with clients. You'll take ownership of a diverse SME portfolio while overseeing and delegating work to an offshore support team.
You'll be responsible for:
* Managing a portfolio of SME clients end‐to‐end
* Providing face‐to‐face advisory support and building strong client relationships
* Reviewing and delegating work to an offshore team
* Managing workflow and ensuring deadlines are met, particularly during peak periods
* Working closely with the Partner on client matters and firm operations
