About The Job
The Web Developer will work across web application development, data and statistical analysis, and machine learning projects. The primary focus is to design, develop, and maintain interactive web applications using Shiny or other relevant technologies.
Reporting To The Research Fellow, You Will
* Design, develop, and maintain interactive web applications using Shiny, React, or other relevant frameworks.
* Collaborate with researchers and stakeholders to implement user-friendly interfaces for data analysis tools and optimise applications for performance, scalability, and accessibility.
* Preprocess, clean, and transform datasets for analysis, create visualisations and dashboards to communicate findings and support reproducible workflows for statistical analyses.
* Assist in implementing and testing machine learning models, develop NLP pipelines for text-based data analysis and integrate models into web applications or automated workflows.
Skills and experience
The following criteria must be met for consideration for this position:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field.
* Experience with Python and/or R programming, familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and understanding of data analysis, machine learning, and NLP workflows.
* Experience managing code and project versions in a team environment and knowledge of data visualisation and statistical modelling.
* Experience in web development frameworks (e.g., Shiny, React) and understanding of mental health research contexts.
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills and attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
