Employment Specialist Role Overview
GTNT Group is seeking a highly skilled and organized Employment Specialist to join their team. This role involves working closely with apprentices, trainees, and host employers to provide meaningful support and guidance.
The successful candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships, providing ongoing mentoring, and coordinating onboarding processes. They will also be expected to travel across the Northern Territory to provide on-site support and build positive partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a caseload of apprentices and trainees across various industries.
* Build strong relationships with both apprentices/trainees and host employers.
* Provide ongoing mentoring and support throughout each training program.
* Monitor training, supervision, and development in the workplace.
* Coordinate onboarding processes and manage required documentation.
* Collaborate with Registered Training Organisations and other key stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Good understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship system.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Previous experience managing a caseload or working in a mentoring/education/employment services role.
* Strong administrative skills and ability to juggle multiple priorities.
* Proactive and community-minded attitude.
