Responsibilities of this role
* Undertake planned and reactive tyre changes/maintenance on a range of mobile mining equipment
* Removing and fitting OTR mining tyres/wheels, wheel rotations, pressure checks, and recording tyre usage information
* Be self-motivated and able to work as directed
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and work within teams to develop and implement solutions
* Be committed to adhering to and promoting a strong safety culture
Requirements for this role include
* Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology or
* AURKTJ011 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road tyres
* AURKTJ012 Remove, inspect and fit earthmoving and off-the-road wheel and rim assemblies
* RIIMPO208F Operate support equipment
RIISAM202E Isolate and access plant
RIISAM301F Test operational functions of vehicles and equipment
* Demonstrated experience in fitting heavy earthmoving tyres
* Current Queensland Coal Board Medical (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain).
* A current Queensland driver licence
