Electrical Estimator Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical Estimator to develop detailed cost estimates and pricing schedules for substations, grid connections, switching yards, and related infrastructure.
* Review tender documents and coordinate approval processes with stakeholders.
* Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to gather accurate cost data.
* Contribute to risk and opportunity workshops to optimize margin and mitigate potential risks.
About the Position
* Sound knowledge of electrical systems, substations, primary and secondary equipment, grid connections, and switching yards is required.
* Proven experience in cost estimating and commercial risk assessment for substation projects is essential.
* A tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or relevant Electrical Trade certificate is preferred.
* Strong analytical and communication skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and estimating software, are necessary for success in this role.
