The company
As part of a nationally recognised pump, irrigation, product sales, service and design group, this organisation is a one stop shop for industry related items such as pumps, filtration systems, pipe, plumbing fittings and irrigation items. They have experienced steady growth and are now seeking to appoint an internal retail sales allrounder.
The position
In this role you will be required to work across a variety of areas, from front counter retail sales, assist in the stores and warehouse area, conduct data entry, source products, prepare pricing and quotations on product recommendation, maintain displays and the general appearance of the store.
Duties include:
* Retail product sale and solutions
* Assist with walk in, phone and email enquiries
* Assist with the overall running of the branch
* Liaise with suppliers and source items
* Potentially design and quote simple irrigation systems
* Support other staff and management where required
Skills & experience required:
* Preferably have some pump, irrigation or plumbing products knowledge
* Front-counter experience with either plumbing, hardware, pump or irrigation products
* Potentially have practical mechanical skills with pumps or irrigation items
* Sound verbal written communication skills
* Have the ability to multitask and prioritise work activities
* Front counter customer service experience
