About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Weekend Cook/Chef to join our Catering Services Team. Working alongside our Catering Assistants, you will:
* Prepare and cook meals for residents
* Support a positive dining experience
* Maintain high food safety standards
* Provide direction to staff as required
* Ensure kitchen cleanliness and documentation requirements are met
Additional weekday or relief shifts may be available if desired. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, kitchen leadership and meaningful work with real impact.
About You
You will be someone who:
* Has experience in commercial cooking, hospitality or aged care kitchen settings
* Holds (or is willing to obtain) a Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Demonstrates a person-centred approach and takes pride in meal quality
* Can work independently and supervise/support Catering Assistants
* Has good communication and teamwork skills
* Values safe work practices and meeting compliance obligations
