The Opportunity
We present an opportunity for you to engage in locum work at GP practice that is part of a small health service in regional Victoria.
You will be working alongside the part-time Practice Nurse 3-4 days per week, plus a JMO from Mildura Base Hospital.
The clinic is joint to an aged care nursing home where you will be required to assist with a 30 min round each day and which will be scheduled in to the appointment book.
There is also the hospital and urgent care centres whereby further medical staff will be working and whereby the ward nurses are happy to assist if needed.
In terms of allied health services, there is 1 visiting RFDS Women's GP for 3 days per month, a Diabetes Educator who visits every fortnight and a visiting midwife 1 day per fortnight.
The consultation times are set at 15 minutes per patient and the patient population is diverse, encompassing individuals of all ages.
You will receive a daily rate of $****, plus travel, fleet vehicle and accommodation.

The Mallee region is an enchanting and alluring destination that is characterised by the majestic Murray River.
This remarkable place is renowned for its expansive and boundless spaces, offering visitors a sense of freedom and tranquillity.
With vast areas of wheat fields and sheep grazing land, there are also surrounding National Parks with a network of lake beds.
Essential Criteria
To be eligible for this role you must have unrestricted AHPRA specialist registration as a General Practitioner and full working rates.
