Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop electronic systems and components for solar energy applications, including solar inverters, battery management systems, and power monitoring devices.
* Integrate solar, battery, and EV charging systems with software platforms for real-time monitoring, control, Virtual Power Plant (VPP) setup, and optimization.
* Develop and implement testing tools and procedures to assess the performance, safety, and reliability of solar-related electronic systems.
* Oversee installation and commissioning of solar power systems, ensuring seamless integration of control electronics, software, and protection systems.
* Establish and maintain safety and performance standards for operation, maintenance, and upgrades of solar control and monitoring systems.
* Design and optimize communication systems for remote monitoring, data logging, and system control.
* Analyze data transmission requirements to determine optimal layouts and communication methods for efficient system performance and reporting.
* Perform other related duties as required.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring technical expertise, analytical thinking, and a strong understanding of renewable energy systems.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
* Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a similar engineering role.
* Knowledge and experience in solar or renewable energy projects highly regarded.
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
* Solid understanding of electrical safety, grounding, and system protection.
* Proficiency in data analysis, system optimization, and technical troubleshooting.

* Competitive annual salary from $75,000 to $100,000, plus superannuation.
* Full-time position (38 hours per week).
