An irrigated cotton and broadacre cropping operation located in North West NSW are seeking irrigation farmhands.
Job Description
The roles are varied, encompassing all aspects of cotton farming from tractor/machinery operation to irrigation. There are ongoing/permanent positions available to Australian residents, and seasonal positions for Working Holiday Visa holders.
Key requirements
- Experience with cropping, specifically cotton is desirable.
- Ability to achieve optimal crop production and efficient water management.
- Previous experience in the operation of contemporary farm machinery and GPS.
- Experience operating Cotton Pickers would be advantageous
- The ability to work independently and take direction
- Experience operating large self propelled sprayers
- General knowledge and practical application of farm machinery.
- Preventative maintenance and repairs is advantageous.
