Project Coordinator Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining detailed project schedules, ensuring alignment between the schedule, project scope, and key milestones.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a Program Coordinator or related role within Electrical Supply Industry or an engineering or construction management environment.
The Project Coordinator will implement EVM techniques to track project performance, provide regular updates on project progress and performance metrics, and identify potential risks & develop mitigation strategies.
The Coordinator will also prepare and deliver accurate and timely project reports, monitor project expenditures, and ensure alignment with approved budgets.
We require a self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment. The successful candidate will have advanced critical thinking skills, problem-solving abilities, and a positive can-do attitude.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain detailed project schedules.
* Implement EVM techniques to track project performance.
* Provide regular updates on project progress and performance metrics.
* Identify potential risks & develop mitigation strategies.
* Prepare and deliver accurate and timely project reports.
* Monitor project expenditures & ensure alignment with approved budgets.
* Support financial planning, reporting, and risk management.
* Analyze costs, pricing, variable contributions, margin results, and Contract/Project actual performance compared to the budget/forecast plans.
Requirements:
* Skilled at being the glue between Managers, Supervisors, Lineworkers & Client.
* Prior experience in a Program Coordinator or related role within Electrical Supply Industry or an engineering or construction management environment.
* Self-starter capable of thriving in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment.
* Advanced critical thinker & problem solver with a positive can-do attitude.
