About the role
Coastal Medical Imaging, part of the Carlisle Health Group is located in the vibrant beachside suburb of Currimundi, is searching for a
Chief Radiographer
to guide our growing team.

In this pivotal position, you will ensure the smooth, efficient, and high-quality delivery of imaging services across the practice. This role offers a balanced mix of clinical and non-clinical responsibilities, with time allocated specifically for operational and leadership duties.
We're seeking a people-centered leader who leads by example. Someone who brings strong clinical skills, natural team-building ability, and a genuine passion for patient-focused care.
As a valued member of our imaging team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
* Deliver and maintain a high-quality, efficient medical imaging service for patients and referrers.
* Coordinate, mentor, and supervise the radiography team.
* Develop and manage clinical rosters that support team wellbeing and service needs.
* Ensure safe, effective use of imaging equipment, promptly escalating issues when required.
* Work collaboratively with Radiologists, modality supervisors, admin staff, and upper management.
* Lead with empathy while overseeing daily operational management and customer service excellence.
Background and experience
* Current AHPRA registration and QLD Radiation Licence
* Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
* An experienced radiographer with strong clinical expertise
* Confident in leading, motivating, and supporting a diverse team
* Approachable, self-managed, and committed to maintaining an inclusive environment
* Excellent communicator with a patient-first mindset
* Dedicated to continuous improvement and fostering a positive team culture
