 
        
        Our client based in Thomastown, specialising in the Manufacturing of Smallgoods products such as pork, ham and salami, are currently looking for a highly driven Logistics Officer to join the fast-paced, growing team. 
Start and finish time is flexible with Full Time hours available, working in a rapid-paced environment will mean you are never bored! 
Your primary responsibilities will be: 
- Data entry and validation of daily stock transfer (in house systems). 
- General phone and administration duties. 
- Assist with order picking as required and dispatching them using a mix of paper and scanning. 
- Collect and recording of data according to procedures. 
- Ensure stock levels by ordering materials, maintaining purchasing records in line with procedures. 
- Investigate all complaints or reported quality issues. 
Essential Required Skills/ Experience: 
- Previous experience in a similar role. 
- The ability to show initiative. 
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 
- Audit experience is highly desirable. 
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, Word and other MS applications. 
- Must have clear communication and excellent interpersonal skills. 
- Experience in the food or smallgoods industry an advantage. 
- Full-working rights.
