About the role
JOE D'AGOSTINO & ASSOCIATES CHARTERED ACCOUNTANTS has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Tax Accountant to join our team in Mount Gambier, SA. This full time and/or part time role will see you providing comprehensive taxation and accounting services to our diverse client base.
What you will be doing
* Preparing Income Tax Returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies
* Preparation of Financial Statements
* Preparation of BAS, FBT and other GST compliance for all entities
* Providing tax planning and advisory services
* Conducting research and analysis to ensure clients remain compliant with all relevant tax laws and regulations
* Advising clients on a range of taxation matters, including income tax, capital gains tax, GST and fringe benefits tax
What we are looking for
* Degree qualification in Accounting or a related field
* CA or CPA qualification desirable or be working towards, however those with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
* Strong knowledge of Australian taxation legislation and compliance requirements
* Ability to meet significant due date deadlines
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
