Our client a boutique architecture practice is seeking a motivated and commercially minded Business Development Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on building connections, spotting opportunities, and driving growth in a creative, design-led environment. You'll take the lead in generating new business — from attending networking events and industry functions, to opening doors with prospective clients and securing meetings that showcase the practice's expertise. Your role will be pivotal in expanding market reach, helping to win new and meaningful projects. Once the work is secured, you'll work closely with the Architecture team to ensure a seamless transition, building strong client relationships that last well beyond the first project. What you'll be doing:
* Drive new business by identifying leads, building networks, and opening doors to prospective clients
* Represent the practice at industry events, meetings, and presentations
* Develop and nurture long-term client relationships that lead to repeat opportunities
* Support bid submissions, proposals, and marketing initiatives
* Liaise with the Architecture team to ensure smooth handover of secured projects
* Monitor activity, maintain records, and report on progress towards growth targets
What you'll need:
* Architecture/Interior design qualification
* Sales/Marketing/Networking experience
* Happy to wear multiple hats and float where needed
