About the role
As the Service Desk System administrator, you'll play a vital role in ensuring smooth IT operations and support. You will act as the first point of contact for technical issues, assisting users with hardware, software, and network-related problems.
Role Responsibilities
* Perform Windows system administration tasks, ensuring optimal system performance and availability.
* Provide expert-level support in Service Desk operations and application support.
* Manage service catalog operations, incident handling, and problem resolution with precision and efficiency.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven experience in Windows system administration.
* Demonstrated expertise in Service Desk operations, application support, service catalog management, incident management, and problem management.
* Proficiency in Jira and Confluence usage and administration is highly desirable.
The successful candidate combination of technical expertise, problem-solving abilities, and interpersonal skills to their role. They'll have a user-focused approach to understand and address concerns effectively, and an ability to Manage multiple tasks and incidents effectively under pressure.

Clearance Level: TSPV

Security Requirements:
Due to the nature of the work environment, our client requires candidates to hold an active TSPV Security Clearance, however candidates who have held a TSPV in the previous 12-month period (which has since been downgraded) may be considered. The successful candidate will need to undergo an additional security assessment before commencing in the role.
