We’re currently seeking an Accounts Payable Officer to support our Finance Team during March-April 2026. This is a great opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and collaborative environment during a busy period.
Role Highlights
The key purpose of this role is to manage the accurate and timely processing and payment of vendor invoices and expense claims for North Queensland Airports (NQA).
Key Responsibilties
Process vendor invoices, including oversight of invoice workflow through NQA’s Technology One system and correct GST handling, Support users of the Technology One system across the business, Facilitate the payment of vendor invoices for Cairns and Mackay Airports and associated entities in line with agreed terms and deadlines, Respond to internal and external queries regarding vendor accounts, Maintain and manage the vendor data and accounts payable ledger in Technology One, Assist with monthly bank reconciliations and preparation of payment journals, Contribute to cashflow management, including the preparation of daily cash forecasts, Provide general administrative and financial support to the Finance Team as needed, Support continuous improvement of financial systems and processes, particularly with Technology One workflow.

About You
Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is desirable Confident navigating financial systems and strong IT literacy Experience with Technology One (TechOne) or other large ERP systems and procurement workflows will be highly regarded. Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven relationship-building and interpersonal skills Confident in problem solving, conflict resolution, and negotiation Excellent time management, task prioritisation, and organisational skills A strong commitment to teamwork and customer service
Eligibiility
