Executive Support Officer

Location: Haymarket, Parramatta or Gosford - 2 days per week required in office

About the team**Enterprise Risk & Enablement (ERE) is a vital part of Service NSW, delivering operational expertise across areas like procurement, contract management, governance, compliance, risk, WHS, privacy, and more. We also lead customer-focused services such as resolution, advocacy, payments, and fraud investigations.

We have an opportunity for a highly motivated Executive Support officer to support the ERE Business Operations Team. In this dynamic role, you will provide high-level executive, and administrative support, managing complex priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the office, handling confidential matters with discretion and supporting strategic initiatives that drive meaningful change.
There will also be an opportunity to act in a part time 7/8 Executive Assistant role as a job share for the right candidate.If you thrive in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment and enjoy working closely with senior leaders on high-impact projects, we'd love to hear from you
Your day to day
* Assist with the management of the Leadership team's diary appointments, records and correspondence, travel arrangements, and scheduling and supporting meetings to facilitate the effective management of their agenda
* Draft and prepare correspondence, agendas, minutes, presentations and briefing notes to support the achievement of business requirements
* Assist with the management of financial payments and reporting and currency of Human Resource management systems (people and structures) to ensure the management team has up to date, reliable and complete information
* Maintain and update administrative practices, systems and procedures to improve efficiency and service delivery outcomes
* Support the Executive Assistant with a range of administrative functions including coordination and workflow of work in progress
To be successful in this role
* You're an experienced executive support or operations professional with a proven ability to manage high-level administrative, and operational tasks for senior executives
* You have exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and can confidently engage with executives, senior staff, and stakeholders
* You thrive in fast-paced environments, balancing competing priorities with strong time management, discretion, and confidentiality
* You have a keen eye for detail and the ability to research, coordinate, and prepare responses to requests
* You're proactive, solutions-focused, and able to anticipate the needs of senior executives, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations with the ability to work collaboratively with others as well as independently to complete tasks
