About This Role
We are partnering with a tier-one mining business to source a talented Communications Advisor to lead internal communications and employee engagement for a major greenfield development in WA.
As Communications Advisor, you'll play a critical role in delivering timely, impactful, and engaging internal communications that connect people with purpose. You'll be the voice behind the project-driving clarity, motivation, and alignment across all levels of the organisation throughout the project lifecycle.
Duties:
Lead internal communications strategy and execution for the project
Develop compelling content for multi-channel communication platforms including newsletters, internal social channels, project updates, town halls, and executive communications
Partner with project leadership to ensure aligned messaging and smooth information flow
Drive employee engagement initiatives such as storytelling, recognition programs, and interactive communications
Support key project milestone communications, change initiatives, and leadership toolkits
Apply a continuous improvement mindset to enhance communication processes and tools
Requirements
Proven experience in internal communications, ideally within major projects, mining, resources, or infrastructure
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling
Ability to distil complex technical information into simple, engaging content
Experienced with digital engagement tools (e.g., Viva Engage, MS Teams, intranet platforms)
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments
Strategic, curious, and people-focused - with a natural passion for building culture and connection
Experience with crisis communications or large-scale change initiatives will be highly regarded.
