Key Role: Cost Modeller
About the Job
We are seeking a highly skilled Cost Modeller to join our team and contribute to the development of complex cost models for Defence projects.
Job Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Building and maintaining through-life cost models to support procurement, investment decisions and value-for-money assessments
* Conducting scenario analysis, risk-adjusted costing, and sensitivity testing to inform strategic choices
* Ensuring compliance with financial policies and audit requirements, providing robust evidence for approvals
* Collaborating closely with finance, procurement, engineering and commercial teams to gather data and validate assumptions
* Presenting cost model outputs in clear, actionable insights for senior decision-makers
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
* A degree in Economics, Finance, Data Analytics or related field
* Experience in cost estimation/modelling methodologies
* An understanding of Defence financial frameworks and investment processes
* NV1 clearance (Australian citizen)
