Role Overview
Western Sydney Community Legal Centre is looking for a full-time Senior Lawyer based in Parramatta, NSW.
Reporting to the Team Leader, this role suits an experienced and independent legal practitioner with 5+ years’ PAE, ready to work autonomously while contributing to mentoring and outreach efforts.
What This Role Involves:
1. Delivering legal services in civil, criminal, and/or family law (Local Court and duty list appearances)
2. Taking the lead on employment law matters (strongly preferred, but not essential)
3. Supervising and mentoring junior staff, PLTs, and law students
4. Participating in outreach programs across libraries, prisons, courts, and refuges
5. Building referral pathways and engaging with community stakeholders
6. Leading or contributing to community legal education and systemic advocacy
7. Supporting innovation, continuous improvement, and a rapid-moving legal environment
