Overview
We are seeking General Practitioners (GPs) for locum placements in remote communities within Western Australia. Roles include provision of comprehensive routine and emergency general practice care in Pilbara RFDS GP clinics and other remote centres. Travel and accommodation are provided. Rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading where applicable.
Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive routine and emergency general practice care to patients in remote clinics.
* Deliver services in alignment with local requirements and governance standards.
* Participate in ongoing clinical development and training as offered.
Qualifications
* Current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.
* FRACGP or equivalent fellowship (as applicable) or evidence of eligible recognition.
* Indemnity coverage and Medicare provider number (where applicable).
* Compliance with clinic and hospital requirements (immunisations/vaccinations, ID checks, checks such as CRC & WA WWCC).
Location & Schedule
Locations include remote WA communities such as Pilbara and Port Hedland areas with opportunities to work across RFDS GP clinics. Shifts include day shifts with competitive rates, and opportunities to extend or relocate as required.
