We are seeking an experienced Product Quality Specialist to join our team in Sydney, Australia. This is a critical role that focuses on ensuring the delivery of high-quality products by defining and implementing quality processes.

Responsibilities:

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, develop, and execute quality processes that meet customer requirements.
">
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality objectives are met and mitigate risks affecting production deliverables.
">
* Investigate and troubleshoot product and production issues, raise non-conformances for triage, support product traceability, and take corrective action.
">
* Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to support certification standards.
">
* Support ongoing development of manufacturing work instructions, review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains and quality improvements.
">
* Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures.
">
">
Requirements:
">
Hold a degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
">
Have experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense/maritime industries or similar hardware.
">
Have working knowledge of design review and quality management of PCBA, harnessing, avionics, systems integration, composites, propulsion systems, and welding.
">
Have experience driving product quality and performance requirements to test and measurement system development and optimization.
">
Have working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP).
">
Have analytical skills and experience with data mining, data quality, metrics generation, issue management systems, and statistical analysis tools.
">
Be able to obtain and maintain an NV2 Security Clearance.
">
Preferred Qualifications:
">
5-7 years of experience with developing quality systems for low volume, high complex manufacturing environments and suppliers.
">
Working knowledge of AS 9100/ ISO 9001-based Quality Management System requirements.
">
Experience with IPC standards.
">
Experience with government contracts and mil standard requirements.
">
