We are looking for a high-energy, proactive External Sales Representative who thrives on being "out in the field." This is a relationship-first role where your primary mission is to be the visible, trusted face of Excell Control. You will spend the majority of your time on-site with clients, moving beyond transactional sales to become a strategic partner in their technical operations.
What you'll be doing
* Maintain a consistent and high-impact physical presence across industrial sites, workshops and corporate offices
* Build and nurture long-term partnerships with site engineers, procurement managers, and electrical contractors
* Conduct regular site "walk-throughs" to troubleshoot hardware challenges
* Actively hunt for new business within the region's industrial and infrastructure sectors
* Hands-on demonstrations of new technologies in Wire Marking, Sensing and Connectivity, proving the physical value of our premium hardware range
What we're looking for
* A self-motivated professional who enjoys the challenge of opening doors and expanding a territory
* Ability to build rapport quickly with everyone from a technician on the factory floor to a senior project stakeholder
* Strong foundational interest in electrical or electronic control systems is essential
* Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and exceeding customer expectations
* A deep understanding of the Wollongong/Illawarra industrial landscape is highly advantageous
* Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales tools
* Willingness to travel within the local region as needed
