Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Structural Engineer - Training & Sales
The role is ideal for someone that loves Space Gass and Structural Toolkit and wants to spend all day helping users get the most from the software You should be friendly, proactive and happy to talk to users both online and face to face about the technical aspects of engineering and our software.
Applicants must be based in our Geelong office or Hybrid in Melbourne and willing to travel 2 days per week.
Training
Preparation of training content and planning of future courses and seminars
Undertaking both in person and online training for our customers
Putting together technical content to feed into marketing efforts
Running webinars on new features
Travel across Australia for in person training and customer visits.
Sales
Responding to trial downloads
Sales demonstrations
Represent Space Gass at Industry Events
Proactive sourcing of new leads and opportunities
Support
Answering typical support questions for Space Gass and Structural Toolkit
Providing feedback to the development team for new features
Assist customers to get the most from our Software
Qualifications
4+ years' experience in a consulting or sales engineering role
A strong grasp of the technical aspects of structural engineering
4 years' experience with SPACE GASS and Structural Toolkit
Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently.
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
Experience in preparing videos, content or training content is a plus.
