Our client is seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Specialist to join a high performing team on an initial 4-month contract, with the possibility of extension. What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you’ll work across interconnected risk domains, providing Line 2 oversight and challenge to strengthen risk and compliance practices. You’ll partner with stakeholders to simplify complex issues, shape best practice frameworks, and embed risk considerations into everyday decision-making.
- Apply your expertise in risk and compliance to uplift frameworks, controls, and practices.
- Partner with stakeholders to simplify complex issues into practical, outcome-driven actions.
- Provide guidance on compliance matters, including emerging legislation and policy changes.
- Analyse risk and compliance data, share insights, and present clear recommendations to leadership.
- Assess and resolve potential compliance issues and report findings to relevant committees.
- Contribute to the identification, design, and review of key controls across priority risks.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or assurance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide data-driven insights.
- Expertise in risk control standards, RCA (Root Cause Analysis), and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills – able to influence at all levels.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
- Experience facilitating workshops, coaching colleagues, and driving collaboration.
- Familiarity with agile/Scrum methodology is an advantage.
