My recent role

As the Communication and Engagement Officer, you will be key in crafting and supporting external communication strategies and promotional assets, with a particular focus on engaging the Australian Public Service (APS) Sector. Passionate about reframing the superannuation journey mindset of our customer, you will consider the delivery of end‐to‐end engagement from a retention and acquisition standpoint.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying and leveraging opportunities to enhance engagement levels through Employer Sponsored events, while also driving customer retention and acquisition
  • Crafting and delivering promotional campaigns to support business objectives
  • Customising engagement content using the CSC education framework, ensuring it meets employer needs across various formats
  • Building and maintaining positive relationships
  • Supporting and enhancing customer engagement initiatives to improve overall experience and satisfaction
  • Preparing reports, papers, briefs, and other documentation as required

Desired Skills and Experience

  • You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible for this position
  • Relevant qualifications or experience in a similar role
  • Understanding of the superannuation industry, particularly accumulation schemes, is highly regarded
  • A proactive and strategic approach to customer engagement and retention
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build trust and maintain effective relationships
  • Demonstrated high level computer literacy with Microsoft Office suite products and the ability to use various systems, tech tools, databases (CRM) and design software such as Adobe Express and Canva
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret client data and derive actionable insights
  • Demonstrated ability to plan, prioritise and organise a range of tasks in a high‐volume, fast‐paced work environment with the mindset to meet deadlines and targets
  • Self‐motivated with a proactive attitude towards identifying opportunities and solving challenges
  • Copywriting skills, highly advantageous
