Description
Northrop Grumman Australia is entering an exciting phase of business growth and is looking for a Senior Subcontract Specialist experienced in Australian defense bid and tendering management to support the capture of exciting future business opportunities over the next 12 months.
Responsibilities
* Provide expert guidance and counsel to NGA senior leaders and multi-disciplinary Subject Matter Experts regarding procurement and subcontract matters
* Review and manage subcontractor performance in connection with agreed supplier management criteria
* Ensure all records are appropriately documented and saved to the relevant NGA folder structure
* Drive continuous improvement for the subcontract arrangement
* Lead and coordinate negotiations with stakeholders to resolve subcontract conflicts and issues
This position is a temporary role for 12 months.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will provide:
* Tertiary qualification in Business and/or Law
* Experience in Subcontract role or similar commercial role in Aerospace and Defence Industry
* Knowledge with export controlled and security regulations
* Proven commercial acumen with subcontract drafting experience and exposure to contract law
* Knowledge of the flow down of ASDEFCON suite of contract documents
