SA Construct is looking for motivated individuals to start their career as an Apprentice Sheet Metal Worker in our manufacturing facility. This role is based entirely at our Welland factory — no site work required. You'll learn traditional and modern methods of sheet metal work, with a strong focus on craftsmanship, precision, and the use of hand tools.
The Opportunity
This apprenticeship provides practical training in all aspects of sheet metal fabrication. You'll gain experience cutting, bending, shaping, and finishing components used across a wide range of commercial projects. Much of the work is craft-focused and involves custom, one-off jobs that demand attention to detail and pride in workmanship. Under the guidance of experienced tradespeople, you'll develop skills that are highly valued and in demand.
On completion, you'll be qualified as a Sheet Metal Worker with strong career prospects across construction and manufacturing.
Apprentice Requirements
* Australian residency or citizenship
* Driver's licence and reliable transport
* White Card (or willingness to obtain)
* Good practical skills and a strong interest in working with tools
* Reliability, eagerness to learn, and commitment to safety
