About the role
Onsite have an opportunity for a Team Leader – Sales & Business Development to lead sales and business development activity across Central Queensland.
Reporting to the Sales & Business Development Manager – Northern, this role is responsible for driving revenue, margin and growth while leading and developing a high‐performing team of Account Managers.
This is a hands‐on leadership role suited to a commercially astute sales leader who enjoys coaching teams, building customer relationships and delivering results.
In this role you will: -
Develop and execute area sales strategies aligned to organisational objectives, delivering revenue growth, margin and market share
Lead multi‐point territory sales execution, ensuring strong performance tracking, forecasting, reporting and CRM discipline
Coach, mentor and lead Account Managers to build capability, accountability and a high‐achievement sales culture
Manage a portfolio of key accounts, building deep customer relationships, identifying growth opportunities and increasing wallet share
Collaborate with Major Account Managers and operational teams to align customer engagement, support tender submissions and resolve customer issues
Ensure pricing compliance, manage rate cards and provide market feedback to support pricing strategy
Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance and customer satisfaction across all activities

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated capability leading and developing sales or account management teams, driving performance and capability uplift
Strong background in B2B sales, business development and key account management
Proven ability to translate sales strategy into measurable commercial outcomes across a defined territory
Customer‐centred mindset with experience managing Tier 0 and Tier 1 accounts and converting complex sales opportunities
Strong commercial acumen, including forecasting, pipeline management and pricing discipline
Excellent communication, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills across internal and external audiences
Strong reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform decisions and performance improvement
