About Spray Painter Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Spray Painter to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers a great opportunity for career growth and development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Mix and match colours to achieve the desired finish on vehicles
* Build and maintain a colour library to ensure consistency in painting
* Prep, prime and paint vehicles according to job sheet requirements following paint supplier's process
* Buff and denib vehicles to achieve a high-quality finish
* Note any extra paint work required that is not quoted for
* Report any old damage or poor previous repairs to production manager
* Clean work bay and workshop areas
* Coach apprentices when required
Requirements:
* Trade qualified Spray Painter
* Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter
* Strong commitment to working safely
* Excellent communication skills
* High attention to detail
* Able to work effectively and collaboratively with the team
* Ability to meet strict deadlines
* Be reliable, punctual and hardworking
* Own tools to fulfill the role
