Career Opportunity: Area Manager
Manage rural fire brigades and volunteers to protect local communities from bushfires and other emergency incidents.
This role is responsible for leading a team in executing regional strategic and operational plans, managing organisational change programs, and undertaking the role of Chief Fire Warden.
The successful applicant will be required to work closely with stakeholders, maintain operational awareness, and respond to large-scale rural fires and other emergency incidents.
Key responsibilities include managing human and physical resources, supporting asset management, attending Rural Fire Brigade meetings, and participating in forums and operational exercises.

Required Skills and Qualifications
* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
* Rural Officer Two (RFSO2) or equivalent industry experience
