The Senior Administration Officer is responsible for providing effective administrative and office management solutions and related support services to the SWSLHD Oral Health Services (OHS) staff, Managers and Director to support with efficient day to day operation of the OHS.
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time, 38 hours per week until December 2026 with the possibility of extension at same/reduced hours
Location: SWSLHD District Wide Service - Liverpool Oral Health Department
Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 6
Remuneration: $1,539.73 - $1,576.13 per week
About The Opportunity
SWSLHD is seeking a passionate Senior Administration Officer to lead and support the operational excellence of our Oral Health Services (OHS). In this pivotal role, you’ll be the backbone of our executive team—streamlining office management, driving recruitment and credentialing processes, and ensuring seamless coordination across departments.
What You'll Be Doing
The Senior Administration Officer will manage rosters, lead administrative staff, liaise with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to high-level documentation and strategic initiatives.

SWSLHD Oral Health Services provide essential dental care to eligible residents across South Western Sydney.

To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible.
- Relevant qualifications in business administration, management, or administration and / or senior administrative experience in managing a team while supporting a general manager/service director in a complex organisation.
- Describe your experience in managing complex administrative tasks and making independent decisions, including coordinating multiple projects, resolving problems, and handling sensitive or high-pressure situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Outline your experience using healthcare-related software systems (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Health Roster, StaffLink, Titanium, Cerner PAS), and supporting recruitment processes, ministerial correspondence, and accurate record-keeping and reporting.
- Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
