Cloud Solutions Expert
We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Expert to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that meet their technical requirements and business objectives.
You will be a key player in driving customer success through their cloud journey, providing technical expertise and best practices throughout the project lifecycle. With a deep understanding of AWS products and services, you will be proficient in architecting complex, scalable, and secure solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer.
As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will provide guidance on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions. You will be responsible for leading the implementation process, ensuring adherence to best practices, optimizing performance, and managing risks throughout the project.
The ideal candidate will have experience with cloud native technologies, including containerization, serverless computing, and cloud-native databases. Additionally, they will possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Design and implement cloud solutions tailored to customer needs
* Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout project delivery
* Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose effective modernization strategies
* Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies
* Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts
Requirements
* Knowledge of primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route 53 & S3)
* Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments
* 4+ years of programming in Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .NET, C++ or similar object-oriented language experience
* Experience with cloud native technologies
* Experience in Linux and Windows-based systems administration in a cloud or virtualized environment
