Responsibilities
- The Registered Nurse uses best practice evidence to deliver person-centered nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary health care team.
- Provides supervision and support for less experienced clinicians to achieve people-focused quality care.
Qualifications
- Current Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated competencies and knowledge of nursing care in a multidisciplinary context.
- Effective clinical communication through information technology, written and verbal means, with strong interpersonal skills.
- Application of evidence-based practice and critical thinking to advocate for and implement individualised, person-centered care with a commitment to quality improvement.
- Ability to supervise, delegate, and negotiate to deliver quality nursing care; willingness to show leadership and embrace change in coordination and delivery of care.
- Recent clinical experience relevant to the position, with participation in ongoing professional development and maintenance of competence.
- Ability to prioritise and organise workload, delivering care with integrity and accountability.
