We are a small garden maintenance and landscaping business looking for a hard-working gardener to join the team. We service both residential and commercial properties, with a range from small yards to some of the biggest homes in Brisbane. We are in the process of expanding, so expect the position will be casual with about 4 days at the beginning, with potential to work more in the future. Week days only, no weekends, hours are roughly 7am-2pm, with a fair bit of flexibility.
We are based in Jindalee, so that is where we would usually meet to start the day.
Experience with skilled gardening is highly preferred, as well as an adequate level of fitness for the job and your driver's license. The hope would be for the employee to become a lead gardener and lead others.
The role will include tasks such as:
- General gardening, e.g. mowing, snipping, hedging, weeding
- Soft landscaping, e.g. mulching, planting, turfing, garden bed edging
- Communicating with clients; we deal with some high-end clientele and need to uphold high standards and professionalism
