About the Role
Our teachers play an integral role in delivering dynamic, innovative pedagogy that inspires and engages learners, promoting a positive culture of inclusiveness, personalisation and care.
Our College is looking for a Secondary English Teacher to join us on a full‐time, 12‐month fixed‐term contract to cover paternity leave. This position is a great opportunity for recent graduates or experienced teachers who are eager to contribute to our vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities / Duties:
* Promote the mission and ethos of the College through active classroom participation and by modelling appropriate standards of behaviour.
* Maintain a positive and effective learning environment through well-prepared and varied lessons that cater to a range of student abilities and interests.
* Set a challenging and realistic program of student homework.
* Provide prompt and thorough feedback on student work submitted for marking and supervision.

Desired Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you should have:
* Bachelor of Education or equivalent.
* Current Queensland Teacher Registration.
* Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School.
